At last! I finally get to share the photos from Leah's Frozen-themed fourth birthday, and let me tell you, this one was FABULOUS!!
My design concept for this party all started with the idea to use Elsa and Anna silhouettes instead of traditional Frozen-branded decorations. And oh my goodness, I'm so happy with how it came together!
A friend of mine happened to have a die-cutting machine, so I found some SVG files of the silhouettes on Etsy and then sent them over to her along with some white re-positionable vinyl. Once they were ready, I just stuck them onto my fave vintage milk bottle glasses and VOILA!--Frozen just became chic!
For example, marshmallow fondant is stickier than molasses in July! The stuff is a nightmare. Wear gloves. BUT, it made a beautiful Elsa castle cake for Leah, so it was worth the hassle! Also, melted white chocolate in a squeeze bottle is a winning combination for making gorgeous, tasty snowflake cupcake toppers. But don't get it too hot, or it won't hold its shape! (There were many ugly snowflakes that didn't make the cut and instead served as midnight baking party fuel. I will not be sharing the exact number.)
That's it for today. I hope you all found some inspiration for your little Frozen fanatics :). Happy party planning!!
