Downsizing to a two-bedroom apartment has its upsides: fewer rooms to clean, lower utility bills, no lawn to mow. But one very difficult hurdle is ORGANIZATION. Every space has to be multi-functional. That's why I'm so excited about this super practical (and stylish!) command center/recycling station!
In this very narrow and almost unusable space at the end of my kitchen, I was able to create a landing place for mail and keys, a mini-office, an electronics charging station, and a trash and recycling center. I combined things I had lying around with some DIYs and a few cool finds at my fave retailers to make it all happen.
I made the shopping list chalkboard with supplies from Hobby Lobby for $20, purchased the mail organizer on Amazon for $35, and found the bulletin board at IKEA for next-to-nothing. The trash can is from Target and the accents are from T.J. Maxx.
Do you have any small-space command centers I should see? Comment and let me know!
