Hey, friends! Who else is loving the transition into the holiday season this year?! I haven't been a huge fan of Fall in the past, but it's really starting to grow on me! The crisp weather, the falling leaves, the chance to break out my Hunter rain boots and chunky sweaters--it's a magical time of year!
With winter just around the corner, I've been trying to soak up every last outdoor activity before the cold forces us indoors. No offense to you snow bunnies out there, but once the temperature hits freezing, the only place I want to be is inside, under a blanket, wearing cozy socks and drinking hot cocoa! So I was happy to seize the opportunity to get outside for one of our last days of crisp autumn weather today and take the girls apple picking :).
The orchard near our house is GORGEOUS. Acres and acres of apple and cherry trees! The owner also happens to be about the nicest guy ever and gave us permission to come pick some apples, even though the orchard isn't a u-pick farm (there is so much good in the world!) I decided to bring my DSLR and 50mm lens and snap a few photos while we were there, and they came out so darling that I just had to share!
We ended up with a huge bucket full of the most delicious apples, two happy girls and some beautiful photos to remember the day by. I'm thinking we'll need to make an annual tradition of it!
That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Fall!! <3
